MEL FISHER CENTER, INCORPORATED

2000 LOGSHEET INSTRUCTIONS

Upon signing their contracts, all subcontractors received a copy of the Log sheet Instructions for 2000 from Mel Fisher Center, Incorporated. A copy of that document is included in this section. It contains instructions for the proper completion of log sheets including position location and the recording of all salvage activities as well as the handling, tagging, and care of recovered artifacts. The document was produced at the expense and time of Mel Fisher Center, Inc.. All subcontractors who joined the company were given a copy of these instructions, and staff members were available to explain the procedures and answer any questions.

There appeared to be no problems this season with regard to the log sheets.

* The Cannon Wreck (CAN), Robert Wreck (ROB), and Green Cabin Wreck (GCB) are all sites for which the boundaries area encompassed by another wreck site. The Cannon Wreck (CAN) and Robert Wreck (ROB) are located within the boundaries of the Anchor Wreck site (ANC) so you will need to use the Anchor Wreck centerpoint for your waypoint, but to stay within these specific site boundaries, you can use the latitude boundaries in conjunction with the centerpoint of Anchor Wreck. The Green Cabin Wreck (GCB) is located within the boundaries of the Corrigan’s Wreck Site (COR) so you will need to use the Corrigan’s Wreck Site (COR) centerpoint for your waypoint, but to stay within the Green Cabin’s specific boundaries, you can use the latitude boundaries listed below.
